A Story meant to be held

( The Process )

I believe photographs are meant to be lived with, not stored away. A wedding album is where memory takes on weight—where the fleeting becomes permanent. It holds the quiet in-between moments, the hands that reached for you, the people who stood close enough to witness your beginning. Legacy, to me, isn’t about grandeur or tradition for tradition’s sake. It’s about honoring what mattered, exactly as it was, and creating something your future selves, and those who come after you, can return to. An album is a tangible inheritance of love, meant to be opened slowly, often, and across generations.

Every album is created with care and collaboration, guided by your story rather than a template. When you’re ready, I’ll walk you through what it looks like to turn your photographs into something lasting. You can learn more about that process on the next page.

An heirloom record of your beginning, preserved with intention and meant to last for generations.

the process

Once your gallery is delivered, you'll begin by simply revisiting your wedding day. As you move through your images, you'll mark the photographs that feel essential: the moments you want to return to again and again. There's no need to overthink this step; it's about instinct and emotion, not perfection.

I. Begin with your favorites

After you've selected your favorites, you'll gently narrow them down. Fewer images allow each moment to breathe, creating a more impactful and timeless album. I'm always happy to guide you here if you're unsure; this step is about balance, not loss.

II. Refine with intention

When your selection feels complete, you'll let me know you're ready. From there, I take over, carefully reviewing your chosen images and preparing to design your album in a way that reflects the rhythm and story of your day.

III. Share your vision

I'll create the first album draft, thoughtfully arranging your images to tell a cohesive, emotional story. This initial design focuses on flow, pacing, and narrative, allowing your story to unfold naturally from beginning to end.

IV. Initial layout design

I. The Basics

You'll review your layout digitally and share feedback directly on the pages. Images can be swapped, resized, or rearranged as needed. The more specific your feedback, the smoother this stage becomes. Three rounds of revisions are included to ensure the design feels right.

Once the layout is finalized, we'll turn our attention to the tactile details: cover material and color, paper type, debossing, and overall aesthetic. You'll receive a design questionnaire to help guide these choices, and I'm here to offer recommendations that align with your story and home.

VI. Album aesthetics

After everything is approved, I'll place the order with my trusted album lab. Each album is produced with exceptional craftsmanship and care. I personally oversee this step to ensure your album meets the highest standard before it reaches you.

VII. Final approval & ordering

Your album arrives as a finished heirloom, ready to be opened, shared, and lived with. It's no longer just a collection of images, but a lasting record of your beginning, meant to hold meaning for years and generations to come.
