Whiteface Club & Resort, renowned for their lush gardens and iconic view of Whiteface, makes for the perfect wedding venue in Lake Placid. I’ve shot weddings at Whiteface Club in every season and it never disappoints.

Last October, Carolyn and Max said their “I do’s” in front of an adoring crowd of friends and family.

Being a broadcast journalist, Carolyn loves to tell stories and being a wedding photographer, I love to hear them so naturally, we were the perfect match.

We thrived off each other’s Type A planning personas, keeping one another updated with every new plan, detail, or idea. Enter Max.

As Carolyn was flying high with ideas, Max would ground her. In our phone calls, he was her sounding board. And yet, despite being Carolyn’s anchor, Max’s sense of humor was unmatched.

We laughed all day long. There was so much JOY in their day and once you see their photos, I think you’ll agree. From bursts of color everywhere (I mean honestly, have you ever seen a more color-filled wedding?), to an incredibly fun wedding party, to an ecstatic Max and Carolyn, their day was happy all around.
